Gregory Penick Jr.

Gregory Penick, Jr. 20, a resident of Montgomery County transitioned June 21, 2023, Funeral Services will be July 1, 2023, at 1:00P.M. at Maggie Street Missionary Baptist Church, Montgomery, Al. Burial to follow in Wetumpka City Cemetery. Gregory R. Penick, Jr., affectionately known as “Gee”, was born June 25, 2002, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Gregory R. Penick, Sr., and Jessica L. Eaves. He accepted Christ and was baptized on February 16, 2014, at eleven years old. Gee attended Jefferson Davis High School. He enjoyed playing video games, sports, cars, and spending time with family and friends that he adored. He would never leave without saying, “I love you,” or “I love y’all.” He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edmond Gaines, Jr.; brother, Gemale Penick; sister, Jasiah Denise Monea’ Eaves; aunt, Tiffney Eaves; and uncles, Kevin Emerson, Tyler Jackson, and Donald Bell, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories: his father, Gregory (Shanta) Penick, Sr., of Montgomery, AL; mother, Jessica A.
