Henry Mack McCall, age 82, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama transitioned August 21, 2023. Funerals services will be August 26, 2023, at New Beginning Holiness Church at 11:00A.M. burial to follow at Hillside Memorial & Gardens. Mr. Henry Mack McCall was born on July 24,1941 to the late Mr. Benjamin Jr. and Fannie Mae McCall Mr. McCall departed this life on August 21, 2023, at Jackson Hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Betty McCall, his daughter Sylvia McCall, his son Lindsey McCall Sr., his parents Benjamin and Fannie McCall, and his stepmother Nealia McCall, his siblings Charlie McCall, George McCall, William (Big) McCall, Harry McCall, Billy McCall, Gayle McCall, Henry (Pop) Jackson, Mary Williams, William Gene Jackson, Carlene Sanford, and Annie McCall. Mr. McCall was a devoted father to 14 children, Nine Daughters: Wanda (John) Sykes of Prattville, AL, Benita (Patrick) Taylor of Wetumpka, AL, Gwendolyn Juleus Boquete, Panama, Stephanie McCall and Sonya Stinson of Millbrook, AL, Fannie (Leslie) Richardson of Elmore, AL, Sheron McCall, Chiquita McCall of Wetumpka, AL, and Tia McCall of Montgomery, AL. Four Sons; Frederick McCall, Patrick McCall, Toriano McCall, Terrence McCall all of Wetumpka, AL. He leaves to cherish his memories to his siblings: Juanita McCall, Fannie McCall, Jimmy McCall, Robert (Emma) Jackson, Nick Wiley, Bennie Dean Davis, Adeline Davidson, Min. Margaret Robinson, Clarissa McCall, Bernice (Lamar) Gordan, forty-four grandchildren, over thirty great-grandchildren, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. McCall was a hard-working and dedicated employee of Fuller Warehouse & Gin in Eclectic, Alabama for 22 years until his retirement. He drove 18-wheeler trucks for over 40 years as a means to provide for his family. Mr. McCall was taught by his father to work and serve others. His father taught him to serve the good Lord by doing things for the people in his community. He worked seven days a week helping the elders in whatever way he could such as cutting grass, helping with the farm work, taking care of the farm animals, sharecropping with his family and doing odd jobs here and there. He was taught to work all day and rest at night. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, and he also worked on cars with his brother George as a hobby in his spare time. He instilled the love of family and taking plenty of photos to capture those special memories within all of his children. During the last few years of his life, he went through dialysis treatment at DaVita Dialysis in Wetumpka, Al. where we are sure he created memories there also with recalling history as he knew it, telling jokes, laughing, lots of storytelling, and where he brought his unwaning humor to all the staff involve with his care. His memory will be treasured and preserved through the great times shared with his family and all who knew him. Hillside Memorial & Gardens directing.
