Alfred Joiner Jr. 68, a resident of Montgomery, AL., transitioned June 1, 2022, funeral service will be held Tuesday June 7, 2022, at 11:00a.m. @ Spring Chapel Missionary Baptist Church burial t follow in Churchyard Cemetery. Alfred Joiner, Jr of Montgomery, Alabama, departed into the arms of the Lord on June 1, 2022. He devoted his life to Christ at a young age at Spring Chapel Missionary Church in Wetumpka, Alabama. Alfred was born in Wetumpka, Alabama, to the late Mr. Alfred and late Ozella Joiner. He loved spending time with his grandson, Rodney and vacationing with the family. Alfred loved Alabama Football (Roll Tide) and Westerns TV shows. Alfred worked at Baptist Hospital South caring for patients with special dietary needs. He had an outstanding work ethic. He hardly missed work in his 30 plus years at Baptist South. He loved talking to and helping patients. Alfred had a heart full of love for everyone. He did not waste words, but he provided sound advice to family and friends. Left to cherish Alfred’s memory are his two daughters, Crenshana Joiner (Marcus) McMillan, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Andrea Joiner (South Carolina); grandson, Rodney Bing, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Alfred is also survived by her three sisters: Laura Arrington of Montgomery, AL, Marie Golden (Otis James Jr.) Griffin of Wetumpka, AL, and Aurelia Golden of Wetumpka, AL; one brother, Charlie Joiner of Wetumpka, AL; former spouse, Ruby Joiner, Montgomery, Alabama, and many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and close friends. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Ozella Joiner, and his loving sister Emma Marshall. with Hillside Memorial & Gardens directing.
