    Mr. Charles Hicks

    August 16, 1948 - March 7, 2020

    Mr. Charles Hicks was born on August 16, 1948 to the parentage of the late Mr. Travis and Ruby Nell Hicks. Charles confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Mt. Sinai Church in Camphill, AL. Charles was a vibrant and loving man who enjoyed spending time outside, fishing, and being around those who he loved and cared for during his lifetime. God saw fit to call Charles home after a long battle of illness on March 7, 2020. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Travis and Ruby Nell Hicks, and a brother Sylvester Hicks. Charles leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Carolyn Henderson Hicks; Six children, Michael Devon Hicks of Tallassee, AL, Patrick Demon Hicks of Titus, AL, Alexis Trinise Hicks of Tallassee, AL Catina (Keith) Sistrunk of Troy, AL, Charles Edwards of Opelika, AL and Toney O’Neal Brown of Tallassee, AL. Twenty Grandchildren, Two Great-Grandchildren; Two Sisters, Evelyn Hicks of Wetumpka, Al and Tammy Dorsey of Atlanta, GA; Eight Brother-In-Laws; Darrell Henderson, of New Orleans, Raymond Henderson, Tommie Lee Henderson, of New York, Roscoe Thomas, Steven Thomas, Marcus Thomas, Clemice Thomas all of Ohio and Johnny Henderson of California; Three Sister-In-Laws: Ethel (Michael) Tobe and Belinda (Ron) Blackwell all of Cleveland, Ohio and Barbara Jenkin of Warren, Ohio, Three Uncles: Roosevelt Shealy, Earnest Shealy, and Larry Peterson; Three Aunts: Beverly Peterson, Faye Shealy and Neccie Peterson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
