    Jeremy Narada Riley

    July 3, 1983 - April 21, 2018

    Mr. Jeremy N. Riley ,  was born  on July 3, 1983 in Montgomery, Al to Andrew L. Riley and Carolyn Jackson Riley. He accepted Christ as his Savior at St. James Baptist Church of Deatsville, Al where he served for many years , mostly as a usher. He was a graduate of Stanhope Elmore High School and Trenholm State Technical College. He was professionally educated in building construction but his passions were in the arts, especially pyrography (a technique of burning designs into wood or leather), glass etching, bowtie design, and creating pieces of art of a unique design. He enjoyed spending time with and mentoring his pre-teen cousins Gabriel and Cameron Lewis. He departed this life on April 22, 2018, having been proceeded in death by his grandparents John “Wess” and Janie B. Sanford Riley, and Carrell (Sr.) and Annie C. Young Jackson. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving father Andrew L. (Lucie) Riley of Jemison , AL and mother Carolyn Jackson Riley of Millbrook, AL. One brother, Asory B. Gill of Charleston, SC. Two uncles: Bennie (Robin) Riley of Savannah ,GA and Carrell Jackson, Jr. of Shorter, AL; Six aunts Edna Swain of Sarasota, Fl, Roberta Baker and Dorothy (William) Hodges of Cleveland, OH, Brenda Barron of Chicago, IL, Malinda Jackson of Columbus, GA, and Jennifer Jackson of Millbrook, Al. six great uncles: George (Easter) Young of Cincinnati, OH, Amos (Elma) Gill of Amityville, NY, James Gill, Jr. Robert Gill, Leanza Gill, and Jeremiah (Cynthia) Gill of Elmore, AL; two great aunts, Alberta (James) Edwards of Wetumpka, AL and Odell (Benjamin) Gill-Jones of Rosedale, NY; a multitude of other cousins and relatives including special cousins Ann Calloway, Gabriel and Cameron Lewis, and a special friend, Mona Phillips.
