January 18, 1948 - March 4, 2020
Mr. Joe Nathan Milner was born January 18, 1948 in Wetumpka, Alabama to the late CB Milner Sr and late Lois Seaman Milner. He found peace from his pain in the presence of the Lord on 3/4/2020 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. On July 25, 1969 Joe joined in holy matrimony with Annie Katherine Milner. He confessed Christ and joined the Galilee Baptist Church when he was nine years old. He remained a member, until the Lord called him home. He actively served in the Sunday School Ministry until his health failed him. His early education was received at W. B. Doby school. He worked for Bass Lumber Company for 28 years. After which he started his own business “Joe Milner’s Roofing”. Because of his love for sports and young people, he coached a variety of teams including baseball, softball, and basketball from as far back as 1975 to the present. In addition, Joe and his wife Annie opened their home to many people young and old, affording them opportunity to be caregivers for family and friends. He never hesitated to assist anyone that he could help in any way.
