Theresa Gail Eaford-Wagner, age 66, a resident of Eclectic, Alabama transitioned on November 13,2021.Funeral services will be held from the Eunice M. Mitchell Memorial Chapel, 3274 Central Plank Road, Wetumpka, Al 36092, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Burial following at Mt Zion Central with Hillside Memorial & Gardens directing. Theresa Gail Eaford-Wagner was born and raised in Miami FL, to the late Otha Mae Hale and James Higgs on November 13, 1955. She attended and graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High. She was always praising her “mighty” bulls as she called them. Theresa loved children, so much that she had 5 of her own and she went on to work as a paraprofessional at Comstock Elementary. She served students as a one-on-one aid for 10 plus years before being diagnosed with diabetes. It’s safe to say, her diagnoses didn’t change her. Monitoring her health, she continued to live her life to the fullest. She was always happy and put forth full effort to ensure that everyone who surrounded her was too. Our mama was so FULL of life, she was constantly lifting everyone’s spirits. She was the soul food cooker. She always had a big smile on her face and reigned as the “Queen” of every party. She will dance the night away. If she forgot any memory, she never forgot anyone birthday. She was the turn up queen of the party that’s what everyone loved about Ms. Gail, as she was so affectionately called. We are going to miss this stuff lady who was a hard rock who rode like a champ smiling away. Theresa leaves her legacy of memories to her loving and devoted husband Robert Wagner and five children Shenna Eaford (Deceased), Lissette H. Dawkins (Deceased), Dreston J. Dawkins, Joseph P. Dawkins, Jerrica Sutherland -Lane (Tredrell). Sixteen grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. She had four sisters: Ora Riley (Jerome), Marcella Douglas (deceased), Rebecca Caldwell (deceased), Eugenia Chester (deceased) and two brothers Ray Hubbard (deceased) and Nick Ferguson (Maxine). Theresa also leaves behind A “BEST” friend of 60 plus years, Verta Sheftall and a host of extended relatives, friends and loved ones.
