Mr. William Thomas, age 75, of Wetumpka, Alabama transitioned on December 25, 2021.Mr. William Kenneth Thomas also known as “Road Dog” was born October 23, 1946, in Elmore County to the late Marion Thomas and Johnny Wilkerson William confessed to Christ at an early age and joined Gilfield Baptist Church in Wetumpka, Alabama. He loved God and his church. William departed his life on December 25, 2021. William retired from Auburn University at Montgomery as a maintenance crew. He also served in the United States Army. William is preceded in death by his mother, Marion Thomas, father, Johnny Wilkerson, brothers Steve R. Thomas and James W. Thomas, sister Queenie Vinson, and grandson Ezra Pierre Thomas. William leaves to cherish his memories, wife Juliet Thomas, three devoted children, Carla Jackson, and Christie Thomas, both of Montgomery, AL, and Stephanie Thomas of Millbrook, AL. Four brothers; Raymond Thomas, Michael (Dinah) Thomas, Fredrick Blanche) Wilkerson, Morris Wilkerson, all of Wetumpka, AL. Four sisters; Frances (Edward) Wilson, Johnnie Mae Wilkerson, Martha Young and Sandra Wilkerson all of Wetumpka, AL. A special uncle, Jerry (Rosalyn) Thomas of Salem, AL. Six grandchildren; Roderick Bibb, Christopher Thomas, Jazmyn Thomas, Brandon Foster, Tadashja Thomas, and Makayla Thomas. Two great grandchildren; Omari Bibb and Khaza Hale. Special friends, Joseph Gunn, Douglas Washington, Benny Gates, Henry Owen, Lyn Cardwell, Dennis Marshall. Father and mother in-law Dolores and Robert Bowman; brother and sister in-law Deborah (Isaac) Coach, Donna (Gary) Parker, Syreeta Bowman, Melinda Bowman, and Darrell Bowman, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
