MSgt Quinshayan Yakisha Richardson

MSgt Quinshayan (Kisha) Richardson a resident of Yokoto Air Force Base, Japan was born on February 17, 1978 to Carolyn Richardson and Roger Harrell in Montgomery AL. She was 43 years of age when she passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in Fayetteville, Georgia. MSgt Richardson received Christ at an early age and joined New Style Methodist Church and later joined World Changers Church International in College Park GA. During her military career she was spiritual and was involved in many church activities and supported numerous charities. MSgt Richardson attended the Atlanta Public School System and the Elmore County School System. Upon graduating from Wetumpka High School in 1996, she was employed with Bank of America Corporation in Atlanta GA until 2003 when she enlisted in the U.S. Air Force completing her Basic Training in San Antonio, Texas and then was stationed at several AFB. MSgt Richardson was loved and cherished by many, no one was more important to her than her family and friends, she sacrifice her time to help others whether it was a great or small need, she was strong and supportive to those she loved and bringing joy to others. Aside from her family, MSgt Richardson greatest devotion was to the military. The Air Force provide her with the training to acquire both a Bachelor's degree in Business and a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland. At an early age, MSgt Richardson began earning notable awards and honors during elementary school. Receiving a Clinical Support Excellence Award Army Achievement Medal, several Air Force Commendation Medal and Meritorious Service Medal awards for an outstanding performance. Furthermore, her exceptional management skills, accomplishments reflect great credit upon herself and the United States Air Force. MSgt Richardson had many hobbies, she enjoyed listening to music, reading books, skiing, canoeing, riding her bike to work and travelling. She traveled around to the world to many countries including Rome, Athens, and Vatican City where she attended an Easter service at the to see the Pope and the Vatican Museums. Additionally, traveling was truly an amazing experience for her, learning the different ways people live. MSgt Richardson is preceded in death by her father Roger Harrell; Grandfather George Lewis Murphy. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving mother, Carolyn Richardson of Riverdale GA; grandmother, Odessa Grays, Wetumpka AL; two sisters Michelle Merriweather, Riverdale GA and Kaylan Harrell; Wetumpka AL; three brothers Avery Harrell and Darius Harrell; Montgomery AL; Errol Harrell; Wetumpka AL; Nine aunts, Sandra Grays, Wetumpka AL; Elunda Murphy-Wood, Latoya Murphy and Kasandra Murphy, Joliet IL; Sophia Murphy- Williams, Orlando FL; Charlsie Ann Wright, Glenda Harrell, and Dianne Harrell, Montgomery AL; Elaine Harrell, St Louis MO; Four uncles, Larry Murphy, Cincinnati OH; Milton Murphy, Little Rock AR; John Murphy Joliet IL; Charles Harrell Montgomery AL; two great aunt LueVesta Grays, Los Angeles, CA and Francis Murphy, Montgomery AL; two great uncles Eulice Richardson, James Richardson, Wetumpka AL; a great-great aunt Tanzie Paschal, Tallassee; AL; One nephew, Braylen Love Merriweather; Special cousin, Fermon Grays; and a host of other relatives and friends. MSgt Quinshayan (Kisha) Richardson held The Air Force Specialty Code 4A0X-Health Services Management. This field plans, develops, manages, and performs health services activities in the Air Force Medical Service. As the Flight Chief for Medical Readiness at Yokota, she performed and managed unit-level medical readiness functions. Her team conducted, coordinated, and managed medical deployment activities to include but not limited to scheduling, tracking, and reporting medical readiness training. Additionally, as a Senior Noncommissioned Officer, her primary purpose was mission accomplishment. She led people and managed programs while maintaining the highest level of readiness to ensure mission success. Accomplishments Quinshayan Richardson was a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
